New Orleans, LA
NOTHING good to say about this place. The place was sprinkled with people that looked like they were there for some place to sleep. I ordered 2 Frappe's well, I waited I know 15 minutes ... There were 2 people ahead of me, they got their orders pretty quickly (how long they had been there before I got there the Good Lord ONLY knows!) ... During the 15 min wait I had two people come up to me and try to con me out of money (which is very refreshing .... NOT!!)
The people that worked there were NOT helpful at all, they were not friendly one bit! Never said thank you... have a good nite ... come back again ....nothing.... I should have turned around and left as soon as I saw the questionable mechanisms on the bathroom doors! Needless to say ... Do not go in this Mickey D's unless you CANNOT make it another 10 ft dying of hunger!

Woah. Stepped into this McDonalds looking for breakfast and it was hands down one of the most unpleasant chain location I've ever entered. Broken seats were taped with "under construction" tape, the people hanging out there weren't even eating, and it almost felt unsafe at 10:00 in the morning. (And as a St. Louis city resident, I feel like I'm allowed to say that.)
Must avoid unless you really want those hash browns. And don't get your hopes up, the one down the street's even worse.
P.S.: The ATM was broken. (Why I tried to get money here, I don't really know.)

HAHA! You know, if I were rating on comedy, this McDonalds would be a 4 star but for customer service, it translates to 2 stars on Yelp!
This McDonalds is conveniently located on Canal street adjacent to Bourbon St. That's probably all it has going for it. As I walk in the store, I already feel unsafe. The lady at the cash register takes my order and suddenly she just utters Powerade. I am like what are you talking about? She was just mumbling CO2, CO2.....then I had to ask her again.......what are you asking me? She said the carbonation was out and the people behind me even understood that. HAHA! It helps to speak in complete sentences. It helps comprehension. I ordered a Big Mac combo with no salt on the fries.
Of course they forgot the no salt on the fries. OMG. The lady at the cash register told the fries lady, told you so. LOL. I felt like I walked into a dysfunctional family restaurant. Also, some one asked for no cheese on their burger but the guy making the sandwiches was raising hell to the cash register lady. I feel these employees are probably not communicating to each other. I bet the guy assembling the sandwiches probably did something to that person's sandwich.
Let's just say I was entertained....but I was looking forward to a refreshing Coke. Instead I got a diluted Powerade that tastes like water.

Better coffee than Cafe DuMonde, and its only ONE DOLLAR for a 12 oz cup.
I loved how the entrance is disguised from Royal Street, you need to enter through a "Secret Passageway" to get into this McD's.
Breakfast is the only meal I can tolerate at McD's -- and this one has the "Steak McBagel" (currently not sold in California).
I love the Steak McBagel.....its one of my guilty pleasures on the entire planet.....and my wife loves the Sausage Burritos.
Cheap prices and a friendly staff makes this a must-visit place in the French Quarter when you need a refuge from Tourist Traps and shitty coffee.

You would think McD's would have a "standard" in all their restaurants. CLEARLY they do NOT here!
Came in here for a quick breakfast because, hey, it's a McDonald's, right? They have fresh brewed, corporate-provided coffee, right? They have an Egg McMuffin that taste's the same here as the one in Miami, in Chicago, in Po'dunk, Iowa, RIGHT???
W R O N G ! ! !
If there was a one-QUARTER star to rate this place, I think THAT would be too high.
The coffee was (diplomatically) one step up above POND SLUDGE! It was disgusting! The egg in the Egg McMuffin was so dry it was reverting back to it's POWDER form! And, cheese is NOT suppose to "snap" when you bite into it. I showed this to the lady at the counter and she said, "we make all these fresh every morning." Okay, WHICH morning two weeks ago did you make this one???
The orange juice was no better. If you took a tablespoon of Tang and put it in a QUART of water.....yeah, that would be close to it.
I'm sorry. I don't mean to bash a place in one of my favorite cities on Earth but I just want to warn everybody what they can expect (unless, of course, "corporate" sees this and other reviews and does something about it).
I'll never know because I'll never go back.

This place takes FOR-EV-ER.
All I ordered was a small chocolate shake and it took like 15 min...and there was no one in front of me in line and 2 people still waiting on food. The main problem was the slow moving people behind the counter and all the people they decided to chat with in the middle of finishing an order....
When I ordered my shake however, I asked for extra chocolate. The cashier looked at me like I became an alien in just that moment. So I said, "LOOK, I'm not an alien; all I want is an actual chocolate shake-not a "chocolate" "shake"...they never have enough chocolate in the them" ... She pretty much said she has no control over it, but when I got my shake, it was actually a chocolate shake even though the ones that came out before mine were not. I win.

I have a favorite McDonald's (clearly I need to make some changes in my life...). Anyway, this is my preferred McDonald's because the value meal prices are on average 50 cents cheaper than the next nearest location and my chicken nuggets and french fries are always cooked to perfection. If you've ever had an overcooked nugget, you'll understand the importance of this. Finally, unlike a number of other locations, I can generally eat my lunch in peace without someone coming up to me and bothering me for one reason or another (like a toddler stealing my chicken nuggets or a man bowing to me and calling me the queen-- both true stories).
Place smells a bit and could use a good wipe down. Ordering was quick. Fries were very yummy; more crisper than other McDs.
It's close to where I had to work so it was very convenient to stroll here for lunch.

Welcome to WalDonald's. We found them to be very generous with the special sauce, and the plastic sack was super absorbent. There may have been a fingernail in the fries. After licking our paws clean, we wanted to do it all over again.

This is possibly the very first Bi-Polar restaurant that I have ever visited. Depending on the shift and/or day of the week you will find it to be either the friendliest McDs or possibly the rudest you have ever visited. I'm absolutely positive that the manager is Two Face who flips a coin to decide on what kind of customer service you will receive that day.
This restaurant is always very clean, which is not the norm for this area.
This place is on the way to work. I usually get a large coffee ($1.40) on weekdays and sometimes sausage burritos on the weekend.
Reasons to go:
1) Convenience. Sadly, it's the best fast food place with a drive-thru anywhere near my hotel. It is also next to a gas station.
2) Chain food consistency. There's a solid chance (67%) by my experience that you will get standard Mickey D's food; nothing better, nothing worse.
Reasons to avoid:
1) Staff. Most of the weekday morning staff is respectful, some even border on friendly. It seems every shift outside of this is full of people who appear to have a jaded and apathetic disposition.
2) Cleanliness. It's Avondale and not very clean although compared to the Wendy's across the road, it is the pinnacle of hygiene.
3) Food. One time my burritos were cold :( those things are not meant to be consumed cold.

i would never go into a mcdonalds...except that at 9pm i was walking by and really wanted some soft serve (and a small fry).
once i got over the diaper smell in there, i had an amusing time.
i asked if they only had vanilla soft serve.
mcdonalds staff stared at me.
okay, do you have chocolate ice cream?
no.
do you have vanilla?
yes.
okay can i have a vanilla soft serve cone.
what?
you know, soft serve (pointing)
oh a cone. yah. that'll be $1..
wait, and a small fry (and whatever he's getting). also do you have sprinkles?
we got dem (points to m&m's) and oreos mashed up.
oh, so no sprinkles? can you put the m&m's on the cone?
i not gonna try.
wait, why'd you tell me then?.... huh? okay just a plain vanilla softserve then.
a what?
a vanilla cone.
oh.
jeez. was seriously difficult to order one cone here. but, i was laughing most of the time, so i got a little chuckle with my vanilla soft serve.
still unsure as to why it smelled diapers. there was a very large fan blowing on the floor- not sure about that either.
