New Orleans, LA

Woah. Stepped into this McDonalds looking for breakfast and it was hands down one of the most unpleasant chain location I've ever entered. Broken seats were taped with "under construction" tape, the people hanging out there weren't even eating, and it almost felt unsafe at 10:00 in the morning. (And as a St. Louis city resident, I feel like I'm allowed to say that.) Must avoid unless you really want those hash browns. And don't get your hopes up, the one down the street's even worse. P.S.: The ATM was broken. (Why I tried to get money here, I don't really know.)

Orlando, FL

Very friendly staff and out of the ordinary when it comes to Mc Donald's. The European cafe atmosphere was a nice change from your typical Mickie D's. Had the eggs benedict on panni bread with a hash brown on the side for less then $5.00. It was excellent. There is an elevator to the second floor with a gameroom. Definately will go back when in Orlando.

New York, NY

What can I say? Sometimes you're just in the mood for some McDonalds chicken nuggets and fries, or the excellent sausage biscuit if you can wake yourself up early enough in the morning. One great advantage to this location is that it's open 24 hours, so it makes a perfect stop at the end of a night of partying. Do be warned that there can actually be a decently long line on weekends, beginning around 2:00 AM to 4:00 AM, more a function of sloooow service though, although I'm sure it doesn't make sense to keep the restaurant fully staffed just to meet the 2:00 AM drunk rush. Inside, you'll find you're typical 80's / 90's pastel pink and turquoise MCDonald's with a weird fusion of some of their modern McCafe design touches. That and the creepy Ronald statue sitting on the bench facing the door... Come for the Mcnuggets, stay for the frightening clown statue.

Lahaina, HI

Horrendous service and food. We buzzed in here for breakfast before heading to the beach, mostly to get local platters you can't get on the mainland. Three attempts later our order was almost correct. Lots of substitutions made (no rice left, hashbrowns instead). Mine was ice cold, my husband's hash browns were so overcooked they were brown throughout. For nearly triple what you pay on the mainland, so not worth it. I'd recommend getting the McDouble for $1, and the french fries are just delightful! If your looking to get away and not spend an arm and a leg at a restaurant, might as well check out this McDonald's and dine in style!
